Construction of private family mausoleum structures at picturesque ocean view cemetery sites in Newport Beach. Borders was commissioned to provide accessibility consultation and construction documentation services and to serve as City agency liaison for the owner on two projects. The classical architecture design details provide a timeless, stately building appearance.
Mission Cemetery in Santa Clara included 6 mausoleum buildings, restroom, courtyard, and a multi-purpose shelter structure for transitional functions. The buildings are of a Mediterranean Spanish style using stucco, granite, barrel clay tile roof materials with arched openings and heavy wood beam trellis elements.
