Sendero Farm Community Park
San Juan Capistrano, California
Borders is working with site Master Planner and Landscape Architect ValleyCrest Design Group to develop the support structures for this passive sports park in the new planned community of Sendero located in San Juan Capistrano. The park includes community restrooms, a tot lot, children's play equipment, soccer and softball fields, a bocce ball court and features a natural bio-swale on the north perimeter. Rancho Mission Viejo is the developer. We established a unique building and shade structure "theme" that is more a contemporary "riparian flavor" rather than the typical Mission/Mediterranean style more commonly found on the Ranch. The project is moving through the agency and Ranch approvals as on schedule.
